About the Project
LiveWell is an AI-driven health assistant designed to analyze symptoms, provide a diagnosis, and offer dietary recommendations. It also determines whether a user should seek medical attention, reducing unnecessary doctor visits while ensuring timely care for critical conditions.
Inspiration
The inspiration for LiveWell came from the challenge of accessing timely and reliable medical advice. Many people overlook mild symptoms or visit doctors unnecessarily, while others fail to recognize critical conditions. By leveraging Generative AI, we aimed to create a tool that empowers users with informed health decisions.
How We Built It
- Frontend: Built with React and Bootstrap for an intuitive chat-based UI.
- Backend: Uses a Python-based API to process symptoms and fetch AI-generated insights.
- AI Integration: OpenAI's Generative AI models analyze symptoms and generate personalized recommendations.
- Database: Stores past symptom records to enhance accuracy by providing contextual insights in future interactions.
Challenges We Faced
