Inspired by
Inspired by ancient Vastu wisdom, I built a mobile app combining AI and sensors to detect negative energy zones. Using React Native and TensorFlow, the app scans rooms via camera, identifies Vastu-incompatible objects, and provides remedies. The compass feature ensures optimal directional alignment. Designed for homeowners and architects, this tool bridges spirituality and technology, making Vastu compliance accessible. Future goals include AR energy visualization and personalized recommendations.
What it does
Vastu Vision scans rooms using AI, detects Vastu-incompatible objects (like mirrors, clutter), provides remedies, and aligns spaces with a digital compass—blending ancient wisdom and tech for harmonious living
How we built it
I built Vastu Vision using React Native for cross-platform UI, TensorFlow.js for object detection, Expo sensors for the compass, and Firebase for Vastu rules—integrating AI and ancient wisdom in a mobile app.
Challenges we ran into
Faced sensor accuracy issues, slow object detection, and Firebase sync delays. Overcame them with sensor calibration, model optimization, and offline caching—turning obstacles into learning opportunities.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proudly built a functional Vastu AI app solo—merging ancient wisdom with modern tech, overcoming complex sensor/ML challenges, and creating something uniquely valuable for spiritual well-being.
What we learned
Mastered sensor fusion, optimized TensorFlow.js models for mobile, and learned to bridge ancient Vastu principles with modern app development—transforming spiritual concepts into functional tech solutions.
What's next for LiveVastu
