Inspiration
We believe that street artists and performers make the soul and charm of a city especially Montreal. We believe that music represents different personalities and wondered which areas of Montreal listen to different genres of music.
What it does
Helps local and streets musicians to find the most optimal place to perform to reach their target audience and genre. Help audiences find local street artists near them based on which neighborhood of Montreal they live in.
How we built it
We created a website interface using HTML and JS, created a server using NodeJS.
Challenges we ran into
Multiple bugs involving connection between server and website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to track the popularity of events in real time.

What's next for LiveNear
Make the interface more accessible. Have a way to integrate spotify accounts and data of artists within the website to better find their fans. Make a better interface for a mobile version. Complete the user and artist logins.
