MenuMe

Inspiration

Imagine you are in a foreign country or an unfamiliar restaurant, finding out what food to order could be tricky. Simply translating the menu is not a great solution. A picture is worth a thousand words.

What it does

Just simply point the MenuMe app at a menu, and it will show you images of food items

How we built it

We used Vuforia Android sdk to implement text / image recognition and displaying 3d objects in augmented reality.
