Family sets the schedule once, and the companion handles the daily nagging in a friendly voice

One tap away from family when it matters the companion never leaves a distress signal unanswered
We noticed elderly relatives who needed help from their children or grandchildren just to stand up, sit down, or walk a warning sign of the fall risk and lost independence that creeps in quietly, unless someone happens to be watching closely enough to catch it. We reframe the problem using the one habit every Indonesian elder already has: opening WhatsApp. Lively puts a warm, AI-powered companion Mbak Asih or Mas Budi inside that same chat, coaching daily strength exercises, reminding about medication, and just talking, with zero new app for the elder to learn. Behind that conversation, a backend built on the official WhatsApp Cloud API logs everything happening, while a companion mobile app gives the family a window in: a progress score, a 30-second Chair Stand fitness trend, a read-only view of the chat, and instant alerts the moment pain, missed doses, or silence signal something worth a call home. Nothing turns on until the elder herself consents. In our test data, the Chair Stand score alone moved from 8 to 12 reps over two weeks of daily coaching a small, legible sign that staying connected can genuinely help someone regain a bit of independence back.
