Inspiration

We were inspired by teachers using slideshows to present, and needing to ask questions in person.

What it does

Our app will allow people to create slideshows with interactive elements that people can join. People can interact with it using tools such as polls.

How we built it

We built it using the Flask web framework, and as minimal javascript as possible.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges that we ran into were syncing the slides across the participants pages. We also didn't have enough time to accomplish everything we wanted to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Some of the things that we are proud of are the way we implemented the room creation.

What we learned

We learned how to use the socket.io library to be able to connect the frontend to the backend.

What's next for Liveline

What we plan to do next is to learn SQL to properly store data in a database.
