Inspiration

Helping people without primary care or who might not be able to afford healthcare

What it does

Provides a chat interface for people to interact with and get medical advice from when they feel ill. Helps people get an understanding of their issues quickly and avoids the potential fees and wait time associated with visits to primary care, urgent care, or the emergency room

How we built it

We used Python, Flask, and the Gemini API.

Challenges we ran into

• Building continuity with Gemini
• Styling the webpage

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Based off the prompts given, the chatbot is able to diagnose issues reasonably well
• Creating our own web UI for the AI

What we learned

This was the first time working with AI for most of our group, so there was a big learning curve involved

What's next for LiveDocMD

Implementing continuity and image support are what we would like to work on first, and then we would consider expanding on the scale of the project
