Live True

Inspiration

As November was too coming to an end, i once again noticed that People aren't living so much but just surviving, and my cousin sister who is younger than me is still fighting with tumor, just a few days before we got this news from the doctors i was telling her to live and do everything she wants to cuz life is too little and we never know how much time is there, I wish i can tell this to more people, It hurts me to see how few people are actually living, working towards thier dream life, and most importantly realizing how little time is left for everyone, a random fact drop if you are around 20, you only have 3-4k weekends left in your entire life, now think about your Dreams, family and friends, how little time do they have left?.. I want people to not be so afraid and take that risk, take that call, and live more often than surviving.

What it does

It will become a home, a safe space for people, where they can share themselves working on thier dreams, where people won't get judged for saying no to drinks cuz they have to work in the mornnig, where its okay to be busy, to go travel alone or work on the hobby you love, where they can share thier 100 rejections and have a community who tells them to not give up and try the 101th time, a space where everyone is supportive and working on themselves despite how life dealt with them.

How i built it

I built it using HTML, CSS, JS.

Challenges we ran into

while building it i ran into a trouble where tho it was generating the quotes before some days, it suddenly wouldnt and i was afraid id miss the deadline so i will submit it now.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

As this is my first ever hackathron, every milestone i went thru when building it, every little error that took hours, from fixing my vscode when it couldnt run html to seeing it building, from the idea in my head to writing each code, im proud to have tried.

What we learned

i overcame my fear of participating in an hackathon which emerged from believing its not a place for people like me who are newbie and freshman in college with all skills still in progress.

What's next for Untitled

i will keep building this, with some fails, changes in plans and some successes i hope to build a safe space for people where they can take that risk they always wanted to, where they are find alike people with same goals for life, to live more often and true to themselves.
