Inspiration

Knotting occurs naturally in our DNA strands and protein formations.

What it does

A live demo of how crankshaft rotation on a string can form knots.

How we built it

We learned javascript over this weekend and specifically, we used THREE.js to animate.

Challenges we ran into

Vector rotations, a new language to learn, and an outdated python package that make our end goal impossible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have a working demo, but we are not close to being able to identify the knot it forms because of an outdated python package.
