Hi! I'm Muwanguzi Jovic Biralo, a Software Engineer from Uganda 🇺🇬. My portfolio: https://jovicbiralo.ziontechug.com My Twitter (X) handle: @chronixxjam
This project was created as part of the Bolt Build Challenge, which I discovered through a tweet from @bolt announcing that Bolt would be free for everyone on June 28–29. The challenge?
Use a single prompt to build an amazing app in Bolt.
I took that seriously — I didn’t add any code outside of what was generated. I crafted one powerful prompt, hit generate, and let Bolt do the rest. What Inspired Me
I’ve always loved storytelling, comics, and animation. I asked myself:
“What if anyone could turn their thoughts into a living, animated comic strip — instantly?”
That led to Live Comicverse — a web app that turns your ideas into a cinematic, interactive comic strip using AI-generated content, real-time editing, and smooth animations. It’s more than fun — it’s useful for creators, educators, and anyone who wants to visualize ideas visually and collaboratively. What I Learned
This project pushed me to think deeply about prompt engineering. I learned how to:
Translate a complex full-stack idea into one tight, well-structured prompt
Use OpenAI’s ChatGPT API to generate visual and narrative scenes
Combine GSAP animation with Vue 3 Composition API effectively
Let Firebase handle real-time data sync and hosting — all from the Bolt output
Challenges I Faced
Writing the perfect prompt: I had to carefully balance structure, detail, and scope — too much or too little and the output wouldn't be usable.
No custom edits: I had to resist improving the code afterward — everything had to stay within Bolt’s generated result.
Design quality: Ensuring the generated UI was visually engaging and fully functional without manually tweaking styles.
