Inspiration
"We're not just fighting an epidemic; we are fighting an infodemic" said World Health Organisation director general [https://www.who.int/dg/speeches/detail/munich-security-conference]. I believe everyone experience certain level of fake news spreading in the community and keep posting the news URL/image to your friends asking "Is this true?"
What it does
Little pharmacist, initially developed as a proof of concept chatbot for demonstrating how a pharmacist can help in providing mask selling location, health myth buster and disease update had been modified to become a very suitable position for Fake news solution.
Firstly: Users just need to share image / url / post to the chatbot and it will response by checking the image via image recognition and URL parsing.
If the news/image is not recognize, it become a source of input to the fake news database, and user will be inform when it is verified by local authority.
How I built it
I built it with node.js (for the chatbot) and drupal headless CMS
