Inspiration
Little Nest was inspired by my desire to help families and caregivers capture, organize, and cherish the precious moments of childhood. I wanted to create a digital space where memories can grow, be shared, and be revisited for years to come.
What it does
Little Nest is a web application that allows users to securely store, organize, and share photos, milestones, and stories of their children. LittleNest is a heartfelt web app that empowers parents to beautifully capture, track, and celebrate their child’s journey in one cozy, customizable space. It blends the functionality of a diary, an interest tracker, and a playful photobooth into a single digital platform designed with care, creativity, and emotional depth.
How we built it
I built Little Nest using modern web technologies: Frontend: React with TypeScript for robust and scalable UI development. Build Tool: Vite for fast development and optimized builds. Styling: CSS modules and responsive design for a seamless experience across devices.
Challenges we ran into
Ensuring data privacy and secure storage of sensitive family memories. Designing an intuitive and accessible user interface for all ages. Handling large media uploads efficiently. Integrating real-time updates and notifications.
