Inspiration

We want to show how woman and men can be in stem.

What it does

An ai chatbot tailored to young kids. We want to make learning fun for them while still being interesting and informative.

How we built it

We used pygame and we got an API key from open ai to get our answers. After that, we added a couple of features that would make it easier for little kids to use.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulty getting the text to fit in the screen, and figuring out what to tell the chatbot so we could best suit the children.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're happy we were able to utilize the API key, and we are really proud of our graphics, which prioritize women in stem.

What we learned

We learned about how to use generative AI in coding, and the pros and cons of using pygame as opposed to web development

What's next for Little Curies

We want to add more features. A couple more include:

• tidier coding
• a zoom in zoom out
• more engaging graphics
• a marker feature
• highlighter feature
• quiz feature and many more. . . .
