Inspiration

to bring game to real life we always heard of haptics and immersive technology to take us to the degital/game world with this book the degital world will come to us The chalkzone cartoon also had a role in inspiring us to make our drawings move in front of us.

What it does

this pop up book will ahve a plane canvas tho with the coding and the projector this plane pop up book will turn into a magical story book that will bring game to life bu mixing art and game development together it will create a field and journey for the user to control based on their decision

How we built it

we used python to code every part of the game and a mini projector to bring out the game onto the book and the book was maid by one of the members/artist

Challenges we ran into

1-one of the biggest challenges was to let the AI animate the drawn image by the user which is still undergoing development 2-other challenges we overcome was the game it self to allow the user to write his own story using same image plane book as the base and the code will change shapes and color to make the event 3-different and change the path of the journey 3-another challenge was to make the projector which still isn't at its peak 4-another challenge was to allow the code sync well with the projector to be able to trace the game perfectly on the book

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1-that we made a simple plane pop up book change view and place and story with our code and projector .we accomplished the ability to give the user the power to change his journey/path and story of the book based on his decisions 2- we Accomplished the fact to turn the same outline into two different scenario and two different artistic and emotional vibe 3- is to trace the dimensions of the book with the game to fit perfect

What's next for Little Artist

1-we are planning to make a console built in the projector(raspberry-pi) so th costumer will buy the first book with the console (eg: like a nintendo switch ) and later on we will release more of the books with diffrent stories and dlc so the costumer will have to buy the book 2- to improve the quality of the projector and the code tracing also to make a mount for the consol and the book so the image will look clear 3-improve the drawer AI to work better and be able to animate any image the user adds 4-increase the random and user based decisions 5-increase the quality of one tablet art with 2 perspective/personality details to be able to use the code to change more of the perspective image
