LITHOSPHERE
Inspiration
We were inspired by resource management games like Factorio.
What it does
It is a game that encourages the player to explore and manage their resources effectively in order to maximize profits. For example, choosing the location of where to place a factory can be an important factor since factories can impede movement.
How we built it
We used Godot to build the project and utilized GitHub for source control.
Challenges we ran into
A major challenge we ran into was learning Godot since none of us had used it before.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create a functional game with interesting gameplay within a short span of time.
What we learned
Godot, Teamwork, merge conflicts, time pressure management, leveraging the power of LLM to enhance dev time.
What's next for Lithosphere
Add multiple levels, such as different planets, improve the gaming loop, making different factories and materials to create more and better efficient machines
