Inspiration

Team Liquid -> Liquid -> Water -> Water intake is important for self care

What it does

This web app helps track water intake, send reminders to drink water, provides inspirational League of Legend quotes, and plays relaxing Animal Crossing Music.

How I built it

I used html, css, and javascript. I had experience with these technologies long ago, but the Hack Club event was a nice refresher. This was actually the first time I used an API so that was fun too.

Challenges I ran into

Using an API with javascript. Due to some rule, web browsers will not auto play music, I was unable to find a solution to solve that issue by the end of the hackathon other than by refreshing and interacting with the page.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to use an API to play Animal Crossing Music.

What I learned

I learned how to use an API with Javascript.

What's next for LiquidTracksForLiquidHacks

I want to make it so that the music that plays matches the actual hours like in the Animal Crossing Games.
