Inspiration
We participated in SECCDC on Saturday, Feb. 11. There were a lot of interesting misconfigurations. We decided to replicate this kind of environment to practice securing our machines and also learn about Linux misconfigurations.
What it does
This project uses bash scripts to setup a couple of vulnerable services and create a bunch of low-hanging misconfigurations.
How we built it
We used bash scripts,
Challenges we ran into
After the competition, we were very tired. This created a very strict time constraint for us to work with
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our ability to pull something together quickly and under pressure.
What we learned
We learned about friendship.
What's next for Linux Misconfigurer
We will continue working on the modularity and expand its feature set to use in our blue team exercises.
