Inspiration

We wanted to make it easier for students with ideas to find people to work with.

What it does

LinkUp helps students find teammates, look for mentors, and turn their projects into a stacked LinkedIn profile.

How we built it

We used React, TypeScript, and Groq, then deployed it on Vercel.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to combine our code when each of us worked separately on the frontend and backend. Getting the API features to work took longer than expected, because finding API's was more challenging than we expected.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We brought everyone's work together into one app with a user friendly interface.

What we learned

We learned how to work with GitHub to collaborate and combine our work. We also learned a lot about API keys and deployment issues. One example of an deployment issue that we faced is when we tried connecting the frontend and backend together.

What's next for LinkUp

We aim to fix some privacy issues such as managing accounts, interactions between users, and API issues. We will try to create terms of conditions for our application, and and easier applying features for teens to connect with companies.
