Inspiration

We always had a hard time setting up meetups to either work on a school project or to get a big group of friends together. So we wanted to make an app that does the hard work for you.

What it does

It finds the best time for the most people to be able to make it to a meetup based on times submitted by users

How we built it

We used the .NET MAUI framework to build the app. So lots of C# and .xaml files

Challenges we ran into

It was really difficult for us to connect to a database. Also none of us were familiar with the framework so it was a learning experience for us all.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning how to make an app was really rewarding, it was cool to see our code turn into a product that we could use.

What we learned

We learned that next time we will probably want to plan more so we can work more efficiently on the project. We spent a lot of time watching tutorials. But we are all proud of the knowledge we gained and can see ourselves using .net MAUI in the future.

What's next for LinkUp

We are going to add more features and hopefully publish it on the app store.
