Inspiration Finding local help for small tasks is frustrating. WhatsApp groups are chaotic, big platforms like Fiverr and Upwork are overwhelming and global. We wanted something simple — post a job, get help nearby, done. What it does LinkUp is a hyperlocal gig economy platform where anyone can post any job and anyone nearby can apply. Need a plumber? Post it. Need assignment help? Post it. Need a mechanic urgently? Post it. Any skill, any task, right around you. Users can chat, agree on price, and get things done instantly. How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Setting up real-time job feed across different user accounts Supabase authentication and email verification on localhost Building a clean location-based radius filter system Making the app fully responsive on mobile and desktop Managing database relationships between jobs, profiles, applications and messages
