Inspiration

We want to reimagine how social media connects us

What it does

It allows you to host events in an area where people can go to. Users can sign and show interest. Based on what you say you like as well as previous things you have gone to, it recommends you events using natural language processing to find similar events.

How we built it

We used react ts and tailwind css on the front end, for our database we used supabase and for our backend work for language processing we used python.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult for us to categorise the events and help users find things they may be interested in

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a complete , functional website. Using AI/ML to categorise the categories. Building a full stack app including the use of relational databases. As well as other social features such as profile pictures and profiles.
