🚀 Inspiration

Do you wish you were just a little more annoying? We're going to help you with that. We were inspired by the "LinkedIn gooning" and relentless hustle culture on our feeds. We built a bot to automate the entire performative song and dance, embracing the "insufferable personality" required to win.

💡 What it does

LinkedinMaxx is an automation suite that maximizes your professional and personal clout.

• Posting Agent: Connects to Google Calendar/Notion to auto-post humblebrags.
• Recruiter Agent: Auto-messages recruiters at target companies.
• Commenting Agent: Their posts are actually about YOU! Our humblebrag algorithms make comments that twist any post to make a self obsessed comment.
• Co-op Matchmaker: Scrapes LinkedIn for users in your co-op sequence with impressive internships and analyzes them as potential dates.

🏃 Challenges we ran into

LinkedIn's bot detection and rate limiting were our biggest hurdles. Our fake account Max Goon got completely shadow banned. We had to use detached browser heads and complex proxy management to avoid getting banned while scraping profiles and cold messaging.

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our "Co-op Matchmaker" feature works. It successfully scrapes, analyzes, and matches profiles based on internship prestige. We also perfected the "Humblebrag Algorithm" for our automated posts.

🧠 What we learned

We learned how to build complex automation agents with Langchain and how to bypass sophisticated bot detection. We also learned that the line between a "power user" and a "gooner" is dangerously thin.

🚀 What's next for LinkedinMaxx

We plan to refine our "Insufferable Personality" model and expand our agents. The goal is a fully automated professional life, freeing our users to... well, something else.
