Introduction

When I set out to modify and update a care management app, I knew that security would be paramount. That's why I turned to Pangea services—a suite of API-based security services that could be easily integrated into my app.

Configuring Pangea Services

The first step was to create a Pangea account and configure the services I needed. Pangea offers a range of services, including:

• Secure Audit Log: To maintain a tamperproof audit trail of all activities within the app.
• Redact: To remove sensitive information from strings, ensuring privacy.
• Embargo: To check digital export restrictions, which is crucial for compliance.
• File and Domain Intel: To check files and domains for malicious behavior, enhancing the app's security.

Integrating with the App

I used Pangea's comprehensive SDKs for Python, Go, and JavaScript to integrate these services into my app's backend, which was built on Node.js. The integration process was straightforward, thanks to Pangea's interactive API reference documentation and getting started guides.
