What it does

The app scrapes LinkedIn for messages or connection requests containing specific keywords indicating interest in proposals. Upon detecting a relevant lead, automatically sends a personalized response message inviting further discussion. Additionally, sends me, or person using the application, a notification (via email or Slack) summarizing the lead details and actions taken.

Security First: A live application needs a secure backend server to handle authentication (OAuth 2.0) and protect your data. This demo runs entirely in your browser for safety and simplicity. LinkedIn's Policies: To protect users, LinkedIn's official API has strict rules. Any automation that doesn't use the official API (like scraping) is against their terms of service and could put your account at risk. Building a Real Tool: A production-ready version of this app would involve registering as a LinkedIn developer, building a secure backend, and going through their official app review process.

How we built it

Using Chat GPT requested a prompt to build an AI-powered application that continuously monitors my LinkedIn connections and messages for new lead requests related to proposals.

Challenges we ran into

The app is in demo mode; because it requires stringent coordination per person with linked in; the application should be secure, and fully comply with LinkedIn's terms of service, including the dashboard to view recent leads and automation status. With that being said; there is a demo version available to use and tailor to your needs.
