Ever felt that LinkedIn was too wholesome sometimes? Wish you'd see something besides a "Congratulations!" under a post about your hard work? Or just praying on someone's downfall? You're in luck! Gone are the demoralising days of wholesome messages and bot-generated replies flooding your front page on LinkedIn.
Motivation
Hunting for an internship or generally browsing LinkedIn is a demoralising experience seeing the flood of posts of individuals (and many bots) flexing their achievements -- this discourages students and professionals from using LinkedIn from its intended purposes of being a networking app.
Features
LinkedIn Hater restores the normal browsing experience on LinkedIn by replacing wholesome congratulatory messages from bots and friends with negative messages, to bring the poster back down to Earth and reconcile with the reality of the job search in 2025.
The author's comments are left untouched intentionally, to add spice to the comments as they try to calm the raging fires that is their comments section. Note that not 100% of comments are replaced with negative messages, to reflect the harsh reality and the few bright spots left on LinkedIn.
Not So Important Stuff
