Link Pink

Inspiration

This application was inspired by the Pink Tax, and how women face financial injustice compared to men.

What it does

Link Pink is an application that automates comparison shopping, and bridges the financial expense gap between men and women, fulfilling a social need.

How we built it

We used Figma to create a UI prototype with focus on UX.

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out what the best method to combine the community feature of our application would be, along with checking if users would be interested in this app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating this app, as there are no other apps that tackle Pink Tax in the method we have, according to our research.

What we learned

We learned to better use Figma and how women still face major injustices to this day.

What's next for Link Pink

We hope to grow our community and get users of all ages for varied opinions on our blog posts. We hope this app will contribute on dismantling Pink Tax.
