Inspiration
The inspiration for this project comes from the growing concerns of the tactics being used in this conflict where all aspects including environment can be used as a weapon. As winter approaches it is likely that there will be many places that are in need of relief and hence a mobile app that provides a way for people to access such relief is vital. This is Liniya Zhyttya.
What it does
Liniya Zhyttya enables users to request relief products to be delivered to particular map coordinates. Userss in affected areas are able to request relief on the app based on a pre-configured list of products. These products can then be bought for the users by anyone, anywhere, and then once bought they can be delivered by service providers. The service providers are compensated once the delivery has been verified in the approximate location by the originating user.
How we built it
This project is built using Solidity and is deployed on the Alfajores Testnet of the Celo network. It is made up of opensource projects: Openzeppelin (https://www.openzeppelin.com/) - which provides ERC20 functionalitity Open Block EI (https://www.blockstarlogic.com/obei) - which provides Open Product functionality with dependencies on Open Register and Open Roles projects
Challenges we ran into
The primary challenges we ran into were the modelling of the service to keep it simple and operational
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our primary accomplishment with this project is delivering a product that is ready for mobile.
What we learned
There are a lot of complexities in the provision of relief, and quite a few of them can be resolved using blockchains like Celo
What's next for Liniya Zhyttya (Life Line)
We aim to keep growing the project by seeking community support and fully growing the project
