Lines of Coat

Inspiration

We love fashion and we love to code so we combined the two! We realized that a lot of people us were hawing weather apps but we could never really know what to wear for the day. There are so many factors that come into play than just temperature.

What it does

Lines of Coat will give you an outfit based on the temperature! This is catered to a feminine wardrobe since we are all females and we could really connect over clothes.

How we built it

We built this using Python, API, and CodePen

Challenges we ran into

We are all beginner level coders so we have never worked with API. Furthermore, none of us have worked with Flask which was a huge disadvantage. Trying to turn all that code into a website was not easy.

We learned how to use API!

What we learned

That teamwork is everything. It is very hard at first, and it gets frustrating, but with a team you feel the joy so much more when the code finally works:)

What's next for Lines of Coat

We would like to turn it into an actual website!! This means learning Flask and HTML and hopefully we can learn to make it where the user enters all the different clothing they own so it can make any outfit
