Inspiration

The piece emerged from a desire to let machines dream in continuity. What happens when artificial systems — image, sound, and language — attempt to understand emotion together? The project explores the fragile poetry that appears when technology imitates silence, rhythm, and breath.

What it does

Generated entirely through Sora, Udio, and ChatGPT, the work is not filmed but imagined. It moves as if remembering.

How we built it

Using Sora’s video extension, we guided evolving visual loops; Udio generated soundscapes that breathe in sync; ChatGPT wrote short lyrical pulses to punctuate the motion.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Balancing coherence and drift — allowing imperfection to feel alive — became the core of the process.

What's next for Liminal Gas Station

We aim to expand this approach into a series of AI “memory films,” exploring how machines perceive continuity, intimacy, and loss.
