Inspiration

I wanted to program the Micro Bit to light up, so I decided to do a cottage night light.

What it does

It is a night light, for people who are afraid of the dark

How we built it

I used black paper and a piece of cardboard for the base. I also used blue-tack and tape to secure it.

Challenges we ran into

I couldn't decide what to do. I wanted to do a pac-man game on the Micro Bit, but that didn't work out. So, I decided to do the night light.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I love how the details came together. The opening windows and door, and the tiles of the roof, makes it look more realistic. Also, I think the slanted chimney on the house was a pretty nice touch.

What we learned

Sometimes, things don't go along according to plan. But as long as I put my maximum effort into doing it, I would be proud of the results.

What's next for LIGHT-UP-YOUR-HOME:)

I love home decor and making things to decorate my room. So I would want to program the Micro Bit into a room decor, or somehow turn it into a fun and interesting toy.
