Light House

Inspiration

Our project, Light House, is inspired by personal experiences as well as an app called “Be My Eyes” that connects blind and low-vision people with sighted volunteers for visual assistance through a live video call.

What it does

Our app’s functionality allows the user to become volunteers to help others in need or also receive help from others. We would like to connect women and people who felt discomfort in different situations with volunteers who can accompany them through live calls until they reach a safe place, or to help them contact further assistance if the caller is unable to do so.

How we built it

We built the wire flow using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

We are beginner programmers so we can't code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to make a nice wire flow using Figma (we has just learned how to use it last month).

What we learned

We learned how to work together as a team and include everyone's thought. We also know more about using Figma.

What's next for Light House

Actually coding it out in the summer.
