->Wikihealth -> a place where people can find education regarding About communicable disease: About non communicable disease: Forum and discussion: Different forum pages for different disease conditions where user can share their experience AI question and answer -> a device where user can ask personalized questions about their experience or a disease knowledge to the AI Containing a chat box just like chat GPT, but is specialized for medical type questions
->My schedule Exercise plan Three recommended pace and exercise pattern for user’s profile Set a new goal (use AI to verify target viability, whether its realistic for user profile) Streak page Diet plan Personalized culinary recommendation based on chronic disease Set a new goal Vaccination plan List of recommended vaccination Vaccination schedule -> shows a calendar with marker for dates with vaccination schedule If incoming schedule in 3 days, show notification in notification bar in homepage Meditation plan Meditate now -> directly lead to user choosing meditation type Meditation recommendation -> shows recommended meditation types Reflection page -> a page where the user could convey their feelings of the day to help mitigate stress (there will be options of emotions available).
->Contribute page Shows page with list of donation request, can be sorted based on relevance, Each donation request includes a bar that shows raised funds and target fund If a user choose to donate, he may choose to include his name or not (for privacy) If user start payment, will lead to separate payment page (database isolation property) Secure payment handling with getaway like paypal, stripe, and etc
->Points page -> is the page where users can exchange their points gained from their healthy activities / exercise / vaccination completed / meditation completed / forum activeness into real beneficial money that can be used to fund things related to health The app will partner with third party like health insurance to connect with this point system monetization (health insurance paid can help guarantee a user health state).
->Geohealth map -> a page that shows the map of places the user can go that is safe for their health, especially regarding air pollution index in the area. This page also provide insight on key locations like hospitals and others.
->Emergency contacts => page that shows emergency contact to nearest medical treatment centers, with direct hotline contact.
->Networking -> a page where user can follow each other or add family member Add family -> family member will get notified of each other schedule or deadlines and etc. Add member based on ID Add friends -> friends can chat each other through the message feature Invite friend to do exercise together
Inspiration => My inspiration of this design came from the people around my society in Indonesia that often neglects healthy lifestyle and healthy diet in exchange for a happier life, while not accounting the future potential damages to their health. Thus I am inspired to make an app that will change people's perspective of health and ultimately be a part of the health itself by having healthier lifestyle through meditation, exercise with friend, and diet in-app program, knowing real time geographic locations that are unhealthy for their respiratory system, being aware of disease treatments with AI wikihealth information, to being able to help each other by fundraising money for helping economically disadvantaged people.
What it does=> LifeSynced app allows to quickly and effectively improve the well-being of a user through conversion of their ID’s or health records into IoT devices such as smart watches. Through this application, users are able to use better technologies, personalized based on the health data and updates from the connected devices; they are able to exercise, plan their meals and control their diseases through vaccination. Further, the app has reasonably integrated donation and other fundraising abilities in order to assist needy patients who are unable to afford good medical care and healthy living in an overall holistic wellness approach. In addition, the application combines the health industry with air pollution information and proposes locations that are safe to be in, providing an additional layer for the improvement as well as preservation of health.
How we built it
we plan to develop LifeSynced by first setting up a robust backend to handle user health data, which is stored securely and connected with various IoT devices through API integration. The application’s core feature, personalized recommendations, is powered by AI algorithms that analyze the user’s biodata to provide relevant and timely health guidance. For real-time geo-location data, we integrated external APIs to fetch air pollution information and display safe zones on an interactive map. The donation feature was implemented with a secure payment gateway, and the entire platform is designed with an intuitive user interface to ensure smooth navigation. We also plan to employ modern web frameworks and cloud storage solutions to make the platform scalable and adaptable to various user needs.
However, due to the limited time, we decided to use react and typescript to visualize the UI of the application, while also finalizing the schema of our application.
Challenges we ran into
The integration of numerous IoT devices and their cross-platform maintenance (iOS, Android and various health gadgets) was among the key aspects that was difficult. Another challenge was putting in place an effective system to handle protected health information which involved a lot of encryption and compliance with laws. We also bumped into hurdles when it came to providing live feeds without making the app heavyduty to operate and cumbersome in design. Finally, the integration of the donation platform where users can support people with verified security measures took longer than anticipated but was crucial in building user confidence. All in all, due to the lack of time, we (me) decided to create the UI of the app, with the goal of visualizing the application as good as possible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we are able to have this unique idea and contribute the often underlook and underestimated health issue in the world espescially in my country. We are also proud that we are able to make solutions using new tools such as typescript with react js.
What we learned
We learned how to visualize our ideas into real applications and how to present them in the best possible way.
What's next for LifeSynced
Moving forward, we aim to enhance LifeSynced by integrating more advanced AI algorithms to provide even more personalized health insights and even health information in the wikihealth page. We also plan to expand the IoT device compatibility and add more features such as mental health tracking and stress management tools. In addition, we will be working on improving the donation platform to allow users to directly track the impact of their contributions, thus fostering more transparency and engagement. Lastly, we're exploring partnerships with local health authorities to integrate official vaccination reminders and health campaigns into the platform, further solidifying LifeSynced as a trusted and comprehensive health solution.
