Inspiration
I wanted to make productivity fun like a game. Many people struggle with motivation, so I thought of turning daily tasks into RPG-style quests where users can gain XP, level up, and stay consistent.
What it does
LifeQuest AI converts daily tasks into engaging quests using AI. Users can complete tasks, earn XP, maintain streaks, unlock achievements, and track progress like a game.
How I built it
I built this project using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS for the frontend. I used local storage for saving user progress like XP, streak, and achievements. AI-generated quests are handled through an API.
Challenges I ran into
I faced issues with npm errors, GitHub upload, merge conflicts, and UI design. Fixing these helped me understand real-world development problems.
What I learned
I learned how to build a full project, manage state, use GitHub properly, and design a gamified user experience.
What's next
I want to improve UI, add leaderboard, multiplayer challenges, and deploy it as a real app.
