Inspiration

When considering the inspiration behind the development of this website, it was the pressing issue of blood shortages and the lives lost due to the lack of access to safe blood that truly motivated me. Witnessing the devastating impact of blood shortages firsthand and recognizing the immense potential of technology to address this challenge, I was inspired to create an online platform for blood donation. The aim is to bridge the gap between blood donors and recipients, providing a user-friendly

What it does

LifePulse is designed to connect blood donors directly with hospitals in a simple, efficient, and user-friendly manner. Our website serves as a bridge, enabling seamless communication between donors and hospitals, ensuring a timely and reliable blood supply.

How we built it

Built in react (TypeScript) with Tailwind-CSS , and for the hospitals we used dummy data because we didn't get any API for global hospitals also we use email-js API and deployed it in vercel

Challenges we ran into

Despite challenges in accessing global hospital data and navigating design complexities, we remain determined to revolutionize blood donation. Through alternative approaches and expert collaboration, we are creating an intuitive platform that seamlessly connects donors with hospitals. We take pride in our accomplishments, including the successful implementation of email-js for seamless email communication. Additionally, we have created visually stunning designs for our project, leveraging CSS libraries to enhance the user experience. These achievements reflect our commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and delivering aesthetically pleasing solutions. We are excited to continue pushing boundaries and achieving even greater milestones in the future.

What we learned

Throughout our journey with the LifePulse project, we embarked on a mission to create a user-friendly blood donation web application. This endeavor taught us invaluable lessons in developing a comprehensive application that covers every aspect, from start to finish.

What's next for LifePulse

The next step for LifePulse is to extend its reach by launching a mobile application for both Android and iOS. We also aim to introduce a feature for organizing blood donation drives. Moreover, we plan to integrate AI to predict blood requirements in certain areas, enhancing the efficiency of blood donation and supply.
