📱 Fully Responsive — Mobile & Desktop

LifeOS AI works seamlessly across all devices:

  • Desktop: Full sidebar navigation with all 5 modules
  • Mobile: Bottom tab bar navigation, touch-optimized buttons, stacked card layouts
  • Minimum 44px touch targets on all interactive elements
  • No horizontal scrolling on any page
  • Same full functionality on phone as on desktop

The entire application was built through multi-turn conversation with MeDo:

  1. We described the full architecture in a single structured prompt
  2. MeDo auto-generated a complete requirements document
  3. We confirmed the spec — MeDo built the full-stack app
  4. When Supabase connections failed, we described the issue conversationally — MeDo diagnosed and fixed malformed TypeScript indentation automatically
  5. UI upgrades applied through follow-up conversation — glassmorphism cards, dashboard home, animations

The complete Disaster Mode logic — calorie calculations, rationing plans for different family sizes, priority consumption ordering, and 3-day emergency meal planning — all from a single conversational description. No manual logic written whatsoever.

🏆 Why Surprise Us! Track

Disaster Mode is what makes LifeOS AI truly surprising. Nobody expects a pantry tracker to become an emergency survival system. That unexpected pivot from everyday utility to crisis management tool is exactly what this track was made for.

😤 Challenges We Faced

  • Backend connection failures — Supabase columns mismatched after generation. Fixed through conversational debugging with MeDo.
  • Credit budget constraints — Only 300 credits to build everything. Required careful, precise prompting with zero wasted iterations.
  • Scope management — Designing 5 fully functional modules that feel cohesive, not fragmented.

💡 What We Learned

MeDo is genuinely powerful for full-stack generation — but the quality of your output is entirely determined by the quality of your input prompt. A well-structured, specific prompt produces production-ready code. A vague prompt produces a prototype.

The key insight: treat MeDo like a senior developer. Give it a proper spec, not just a vague idea.
