Inspiration

We got it from tiktok. We saw how some people were doing something called rejection therapy where they would ask unusual but still reasonable requests expecting a no. This just inspired us to build an app that would help lead people with social anxiety in the right direction towards building self confidence.

What it does

The user answers some questions during onboarding to give us an idea of where they are standing socially. From there, we generate prompts that slowly let them get out of their comfort zone. A good motivator for them is that they will put money in, and then for every quest they complete, they get a refund on that money over time.

How we built it

Flask for backend React Expo Native for IOS ui MongoDB for our database Gemini API to generate users' quests We split up the set up, so we worked on ui design

Challenges we ran into

One of the hardest challenges was generating ideas. It was also difficult to connect all the code we worked on together. For example, we had people working on backend and frontend, and we ran into problems connecting everything.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We eventually managed to get everything connected. We was also pretty proud of how the animations and UI looked.

What we learned

We learned how to work together in a team really well. When splitting up work, it can be difficult to eventually converge on the same topic.

What's next for LifeMax

We aim to add the Solana payment system so it will actually allow users to have incentive to complete the quests. We are also going to incorporate ElevenLabs to read out supportive messages.
