Inspiration:-

We were moved by the real-life struggles faced by Thalassemia patients, especially their constant need for regular blood donations and the lack of a predictive, real-time support system. The inspiring work done by Blood Warriors motivated us to come up with a technology-driven solution that could make a real difference.

What We Have (So Far):-

A clear idea of a platform to: => Connect patients with donors in real time. => Use AI to predict donor availability. => Provide education and communication tools for patients and doctors. A plan to integrate with existing systems like e-RaktKosh and Blood Bridge. A basic technology roadmap with Django (backend), MS SQL (database), and React or HTML/CSS/JS (frontend), plus AI tools for prediction.

What We Are Learning:-

=> How AI can be used to solve real-world health problems. => The importance of privacy, accessibility, and simplicity in healthcare tech. => How to plan a product for both urban and rural users with different tech acces

Challenges we ran into:-

=> Getting access to real donor and patient data for model training. => Managing secure API integrations with external platforms. => Designing a user interface that works for people of all ages and backgrounds. => Ensuring data privacy while handling sensitive medical information.

What's next for LifeLineAI:

We are preparing to: => Design the backend structure and data models. => Build a prototype with basic donor–patient connection. => Begin work on the AI prediction engine using dummy datasets. => Collaborate with NGOs or hospitals for testing and feedback.
