Inspiration

The urgency for sustainable life choices has never been higher. Changes need to happen fast with the Earth's natural resources quickly depleting. What we fail to realize is that sustainable life choices are also beneficial to human health. Making these smart sustainable choices can protect our planet, and ourselves. This knowledge led to the creation of LifeBoost.

What it does

LifeBoost allows individuals to see how committing to sustainable choices can not only benefit our planet but their own lives as well.

How we built it

LifeBoost was created in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

We have very limited HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience so figuring out small things like aligning content was difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our simple but effective calculator and slider-based UI.

What we learned

We learned how to make a simple calculator with JavaScript.

What's next for LifeBoost

Adding additional options like male/female or smoking/non-smoking would improve our calculations. Updating the website design would also improve the user experience.
