Inspiration

We were inspired by BitLife and AI Dungeon .Our project is unique because it’s a fully functional game, not just a story generator. Every choice affects gameplay and outcomes

What it does

Life-AI is a text-based life simulator with an interactive game interface. Every decision shapes a unique story. Powered by OpenAI, it generates personalized life paths filled with unexpected twists, moral choices, and emotional depth.

How we built it

• Frontend: React + Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Python
• AI Integration: OpenAI API
  

We combined all parts to generate dynamic life events and real-time storylines.

Challenges we ran into

• Connecting the backend logic to the frontend UI
• Setting up Git and version control (some teammates were new to it)
• Managing API calls and state updates between components

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Built AI agents capable of creating unique, branching stories
• Learned to collaborate effectively and solve technical issues together

What we learned

• How to integrate AI with web applications
• How to use Git and GitHub for teamwork
• The importance of communication and clear task division

What's next for Life-AI

• Add voice narration
• Create a save/load system
• Add multiplayer comparisons
• Expand events and traits for richer gameplay
