We’ve all had moments where we forget something important from a conversation or lose track of tasks we promised to do. We wanted to build something that not only remembers for you but helps you act on it—making life smoother and more organized.


What it does

MindVault listens to your day, organizes your conversations, pulls out key commitments, and provides daily summaries. It’s like having a personal assistant who keeps track of your to-dos and gives you actionable insights—all while keeping your data safe.


How we built it

We used cutting-edge AI with GPT-4 for summarization and task extraction, built the app with Next.js for the frontend, and created a solid backend with Node.js and MongoDB. It all comes together to give users an intuitive, seamless experience.


Challenges we ran into

Figuring out how to accurately extract tasks from casual conversations was tricky. And, of course, balancing powerful features with privacy and user trust was a constant focus.


Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made something genuinely useful! From turning conversations into summaries to tracking commitments automatically, we’re proud of how everything works together to help people stay on top of their lives.


What we learned

The biggest takeaway? Simplicity is key. The more intuitive and human-friendly we made the app, the more powerful it became. We also learned a lot about combining AI with real-world needs.


What’s next for Life Organizer

We’re adding features like calendar integration, smarter personalization, and real-time notifications. The vision is to make MindVault your go-to tool for staying organized, productive, and stress-free.
