LifeLink — Blood Donation Network
A real-time platform connecting blood donors, hospitals, and patients to reduce delays in emergency situations where every minute matters.
LifeLink enables hospitals to post urgent blood requests that are instantly matched with compatible donors and sent to nearby available users. This helps bridge the gap between emergencies and response time, especially in critical, resource-limited situations.
The system also includes a hospital dashboard for managing requests and tracking donation activity, building a more reliable and responsive donor network over time.
Inspiration
In many emergencies, patients don’t lose time because treatment isn’t available, they lose time because blood cannot be found fast enough. LifeLink was built to solve that gap.
Impact
LifeLink improves emergency response by reducing the time it takes to find compatible blood donors. It helps hospitals quickly reach available donors, improves coordination during critical situations, and builds a more reliable, community-driven blood donation system that can save lives when seconds matter.
