Inspiration
We wanted to make wellness feel less overwhelming and more actionable. Instead of endless content and complicated routines, Lienora focuses on one small idea each day: something you can discover, practice, and keep.
What it does
Each day, Lienora gives you a daily wellness guidance linked to a simple micro-practice. You can add it to your rituals timeline and build it into your routine. When a guidance really resonates with you, you can save it in your personal Sanctuary, creating a collection of practices you want to return to.
How we built it
Lienora is built as React Native and Expo project with a calm, minimal design centered around discovery and daily engagement. We designed the core experience around three concepts: Discover, Practice, Keep. The app combines daily guidance, micro-practices, a rituals timeline, and the Sanctuary collection into one simple flow.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was finding the right balance between simplicity and depth. We wanted Lienora to feel lightweight enough to use every day while still giving users a reason to come back and build something over time. Designing the discovery and collection experience without turning it into another content-heavy app required a lot of iteration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We turned a simple wellness concept into a fully usable product, from daily discovery to practicing a ritual and saving meaningful guidance in a personal Sanctuary. We're especially proud of the calm experience and the way the different features connect into one coherent journey.
What we learned
We learned that wellness doesn't necessarily need more content. It needs better moments of action. Connecting every guidance to a concrete micro-practice helped us think about wellness as something you do, not just something you consume.
What's next for Lienora
We want to make Lienora feel increasingly personal while keeping its simplicity. Next, we're planning a dedicated Breathe module for short breathing and mindfulness moments, as well as a personal Garden where users can spend the Liêns they accumulate through daily engagement to unlock and collect items, gradually creating their own peaceful space. We're also exploring smarter personalization, richer rituals, and deeper progression around the Sanctuary.
