Inspiration

The inspiration behind Lido Assistant was the need to simplify Ethereum staking, especially for users interacting with ETH. With blockchain technology evolving rapidly, we aimed to create an assistant that provides clear, real-time insights while making staking more accessible.

What it does

Lido Assistant helps users stake ETH, retrieve staking APR data, and check their ETH balance seamlessly. It automates transaction generation for staking, explains blockchain-related terms, and ensures all responses are accurate and user-friendly.

How we built it

  • API Integration: Connected with Lido AI Assistant APIs for real-time blockchain data retrieval.
  • Transaction Automation: Implemented 'generate-evm-tx' to handle staking transactions efficiently.
  • Data Presentation: Designed a structured format to present staking rewards, risks, and APR trends clearly.
  • Error Handling: Developed mechanisms to provide actionable feedback when errors occur.

Challenges we ran into

  • Ensuring seamless integration with blockchain APIs while maintaining performance.
  • Automating transactions without compromising security and user control.
  • Making complex staking data easy to understand for all user levels.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Successfully automated staking transactions with a smooth user experience.
  • Created an intuitive interface for blockchain-related queries.
  • Implemented APR tracking for users to monitor staking performance over time.

What we learned

  • The importance of providing clear and transparent blockchain insights.
  • How to optimize API interactions for speed and reliability.
  • Best practices for handling blockchain transactions in a user-friendly manner.

What's next for Lido Assistant

  • Expanding support to additional blockchain networks.
  • Enhancing AI capabilities for deeper insights and personalized recommendations.
  • Introducing multilingual support for a broader audience.
  • Strengthening security for transaction handling and user interactions.
