Inspiration

We were really inspired by our peers who seem disappointed about eating the same meal-prepped food every week.

What it does

LIC is a cool wrapper for Gemini AI that takes an image of food ingredients and helps come up with recipes for you.

How we built it

We created a front-end React and a back-end Flask that handles the ingredients, sends it to Gemini, and helps come up with some recipes.

Challenges we ran into

We are unfamiliar with JavaScript and HTML as well as properly implementing APIs since it was basically our first time doing so.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got a working product :O

What we learned

Full stack and end points are goofy

What's next for LIC

We plan on implementing a live camera function and a mobile app that allows you to take a picture that immediately gets and processed.
