Been hearing buzz about big data for many years and finally looked into what it actually was. In short of what I had looked into, Big data, as the name says, is a large collection of complex datasets gathered across the world, like Facebook or IoT devices. The need for 'Big data' arisen when a huge number of data was seen to be gathered across various mediums thus needing ways to handle them. For data to be useful, we require huge volumes, fast transfer rate, different varieties, the value of the data, and the accuracy of data. These are essential to conclude anything based on the data. With the ongoing revolution of AI, the need for meaningful data never ends and thus this field is evergrowing along with AI. The opportunities/problems of Big data include processing of big data into meaningful, usable data, managing the data by efficiently storing them, and analyzing the data to bring fruit to the big data. This topic was very enriching and fun to explore and I have noticed that such concepts were seen in various cases but were just unknown to be of 'Big Data'
