Inspiration

Witnessing the critical delay in human rights violation reporting, we built Lextech to bridge the gap between victims and NGOs using secure, AI-powered technology.

What it does

Lextech provides a secure platform for victims to report abuses via an AI-guided chatbot and a streamlined dashboard for NGOs to triage and analyze cases efficiently.

How we built it

We developed a robust Nest.js API with a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase, Google's Gemini AI for intelligent analysis, hosted on Koyeb. The frontend is a React/Vite application deployed on Vercel.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating the Gemini AI API for consistent, structured data analysis and ensuring seamless, secure data flow between our Vercel frontend and Koyeb-hosted API were key challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built a full-stack, AI-integrated application that delivers a seamless user experience for both reporters and NGOs, from a simple form to a powerful analytical dashboard.

What we learned

We deepened our expertise in full-stack development, mastering the integration of Nest.js, React, and external AI APIs while prioritizing data security and user experience.

What's next for Lextech

Implementing mobile version, advanced data encryption, and partnership integrations with major NGOs to expand our impact and protect more people.
