Inspiration

We wanted to make writing and understanding language easier, faster, and more creative. That inspired us to build LexiGem — an AI-powered assistant that helps users express ideas clearly and confidently.

What it does

LexiGem enhances your writing by generating, rewriting, summarizing, or explaining text instantly. It adapts to tone, style, and purpose — whether you’re writing an email, essay, or post — acting as your personal AI writing companion.

How we built it

Built with React, Node.js, and gemini api models, LexiGem combines a clean UI with powerful AI-driven text processing. We used Firebase for data handling and deployed the app on Vercel for scalability and speed.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with managing API rate limits, maintaining fast response times, and fine-tuning tone accuracy for different writing styles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a fully functional, elegant AI writing tool in a short time and received positive feedback from early testers on its clarity and usability.

What we learned

We learned how crucial prompt design, UX simplicity, and API optimization are when working with AI models.
