Inspiration

My father is a legal professional, and I’ve seen firsthand the demanding nature of his work. Every day, he returns from court after juggling multiple cases — often mentally and physically exhausted. But the work doesn’t end there.

At the end of every month, he spends hours manually creating legal bills, organizing case details, and tracking payments — a process that’s tedious, error-prone, and eats into the little free time he has.

Working and learning on complex legal matters is already hard. But having to work even harder just to get paid made me realize how broken and outdated the operational side of legal practice still is.

That was the spark. I wanted to build something that could ease this burden for him — and for thousands of legal professionals like him.

Lexbill Pro is my attempt at solving that bottleneck.

What it does

Lexbill Pro is an all-in-one billing and case tracking platform for legal professionals.

With Lexbill Pro, users can: 📄 Create case-specific legal bills and invoices 💼 Log time, activities, and expenses against cases 📬 Send invoices directly to clients and track payment status 📊 View earnings, outstanding payments, and performance metrics 🧾 Maintain organized records of cases, bills, and clients It’s simple, powerful, and designed to feel natural to lawyers, not just tech users

How we built it

We built Lexbill Pro using @boltdotnew, which allowed rapid UI development, logic management, and deployment without getting lost in boilerplate.

Challenges we ran into

Mapping real-life legal workflows into a clean, structured UI Designing invoice logic that works for multiple cases and clients Making the product intuitive for non-tech-savvy users (like my dad!) Balancing flexibility (custom billing styles) with simplicity

What's next for Lexbill Pro

Add secure login and cloud sync with encryption Enable document upload for case records and receipts Offer multi-language support (especially regional languages in India)
