LevelUP

Inspiration

We often found it to be challenging to level up our skills, so we built a website that help people to level up their skills by completing tasks everyday. Tasks will be more difficult and more rewarding when they completed.

What it does

The app gamified user's improvement journey by implementing a virtual chibi version of themselves. By completing the tasks, user will receive coins. Coins could be use to buy chibi clothings, and entertain themselves with a list of minigames that we provided.

How we built it

The frontend is templated with Figma and furtherly interpreted and extended using React Native. The backend is built with python and FastAPI, we store users' contents in Supabase. We implemented AI to build and customize their tasks.

Challenges we ran into

Our idea came into a wall since there is a time limit and the difficulty of integrating AI into our backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our ability to make teamwork the dreamwork. Where we were able to build a functional website from scratch in the span of two days.

What we learned

We learned the power of teamwork and communication.

What's next for LevelUP

We had a lot in mind, like building a multi-platform ranking system where users can compete with each other.
