Inspiration

We were inspired by an idea of creating a tool for wellness and productivity, but we didn't want to just leave it at that. We believe that turning routine activities into fun games will gretely increase your chances of staying on track with your resolutions!

What it does

LevelUP is an application designed to adapt to your needs. In the beginning, when you create your account, you will be asked to fill out a survey to determine which approaches may be best for you. Our application has an extensive amount of activities oriented towards wellness - all made fun and engaging through mini-games (coming soon!). Whether you'd like to keep a journal, vent to a support bot, or take some time to breathe, you will be sure to find something that fits you with LevelUP!

How we built it

We used React and Python to design LevelUP. Your data is safe with us - all your passwords and journal entries are encrypted! We used a simple

Challenges we ran into

Time constraints: Due to the fast-paced nature of the hackathon, we were unable to make all of our ideas a reality. New, unfamiliar APIs and software: Since we are beginners, we did not have much experience with building full-fledged applications, so it took us extra time to learn to integrate features with one another.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of what we were able to accomplish with the timeframe given, especially we are proud of the journal feature, as well as the login system.

What we learned

How to work with Flask and React, how to integrate machine learning models into web applications and how to handle databases.

What's next for LevelUP

Gamification: All of LevelUP's features are going to be integrated with simple, fun games to help motivate you to keep coming back! Improved chatbot: Bigger training datasets and more customized replies! Community: Share a positive thought with the community to inspire and engage to be inspired! Planner: Plan your activities and recieve daily reminders about your medication, events, and personalized suggestions!
